SPOUSAL SUPPORT

Spousal support is more complicated than child support.  To establish a claim, the person seeking spousal support must first prove entitlement:  either compensatory, non-compensatory or a combination of these.  It is only after demonstrating entitlement to spousal support that the amount of spousal support, and the duration, can be addressed.
