CHILD SUPPORT

Child support is the right of the child.  It is essential that the parent paying support (the “payor”) has made full disclosure of their income to ensure that the proper amount of child support is paid.

 

In some cases, it is necessary to impute income to the payor when he or she has not made full or complete disclosure.  It is possible to obtain bank records and other information that will ensure that the payor is not “hiding” income.
